The Opportunities for All Careers and Jobs Fair held in Hermitage Academy last week (10 th August), attracted many employers with 150 jobseekers through the doors over the course of the event.image
Afterwards, Mr O’Hara said,
“I am delighted to say that the Helensburgh Jobs Fair has been a huge success and a big thank you to the Argyll and Bute Employment Partnership Group for inviting me to host this event. It’s been a great way for employers and jobseekers to meet in a relaxed and informal environment and I am also delighted to report that employers were able to fill some of their vacancies from people they spoke to on the day.

Given the positive feedback from both employers and jobseekers, I would hope that the Helensburgh job Fair will become an
annual event in the town.” More information on any future job fairs in your area can be found by contacting your local job centre plus.
