“Argyll & Bute has many outstanding rural businesses, let’s see them recognised”The Scottish Rural Awards, partnered by Scottish Field magazine and the Scottish Countryside Alliance, are the ultimate benchmark of excellence in rural Scotland. To mark the innovation, dedication and community spirit of those across our Scottish rural and country communities, the Scottish Rural Awards also recognise the hardship and difficulties these businesses face daily to survive, many far exceeding normal expectations of commitment. Nominations open on 1st August so if you know an outstanding rural business or someone who really goes that extra mile in their community, make sure they receive the recognition they deserve.
Scottish Field magazine and the Scottish Countryside Alliance brings the Scottish Rural Awards to the national stage is now in its third year – and with a set of 11 categories shortly opening for entries for 2017, now is the time to start thinking about the rural businesses and unsung community heroes of your local area.
